Player Name "forcefully" auto-set
Hello all,

Today when I connect to CS 1.6 DeathMatch server, I realized that my Player Name is being "forcefully" auto-set to other random player name by the server. I regularly use this nick:

 I.aM.a.NoOb.pLs.DoN't.KiLL.mE

After connecting into the CS 1.6 DeathMatch server, within the command window I tried typing this command:

name I.aM.a.NoOb.pLs.DoN't.KiLL.mE

But there is still no effect and nothing happened. My player name still did not change.

Are there any new restrictions added recently that made it unable to change player name?

Please enlighten me.
